Nature & Wildlife Paintings
Inspired by the wild, created with heart.

My artwork reflects the quiet strength and soulful beauty of nature — especially the wildlife and landscapes of the Shuswap region. Through soft pastels and watercolor, I aim to capture not just how it looks, but how it feels to stand in stillness, breathe deeply, and connect with the world around us.
Welcome to my Art World
My art is inspired by the natural world — from the quiet strength of wildlife to the soft movement of birds, the peace of familiar landscapes, and the simplicity of hand-drawn lines.
I paint in four broad collections: Wildlife & Animals, Birds, Landscapes, and Drawings. Each reflects a different aspect of how I see and feel the world around me.
Take your time exploring my most recent paintings, and if something speaks to you, you’ll find more individual pieces, and details on the Artwork page.

Wildlife & Animals
Wild presence
These are the quiet guardians of the forest, the watchers, the wanderers. I paint animals not just for their beauty, but to capture their energy, emotion, and deep connection to the land they live in.

Birds
Winged Grace
Birds are moments of magic — fleeting, light, and full of wonder. Through color, softness, and gesture, I try to express their movement and the way they lift our spirits just by being.

Landscapes
Nature's soul
These pieces reflect the places that have shaped me — the Shuswap region and beyond. Mountains, water, forests, and skies that hold peace, power, and the feeling of standing still in something bigger than ourselves.

Drawings
simple stories
Sometimes the quietest work says the most. These graphite and line drawings focus on form, texture, and expression — a more intimate, stripped-back way of connecting with the subject.

Art & Health Philosophy
healthy mindset, fun, Realism & Expressive art
My two passions are Art & Health. Without health we don't have a fulfilled life. Part of a healthy lifestyle is having a passion in life, fulfilling your day with purpose, meaning, and enjoyment. A success mindset plays a huge role in your outlook which translates to your nervous system relaxing and your body healing.
My passion is pastel painting. I love the pastels for the slow building of layers and subtle blending or crisp lines. I love watercolors for their freedom & letting go of control. I’m finding I can really feel the subject I’m painting, get into the ‘zone’ and work the medium to best suit the subject.
Being in that moment, that zone, where time does not exist, really feeling the subject on my canvas - that’s when I create my best pieces. My style is to blend realism with expressiveness while creating a deep connection to the beauty of nature in landscapes and animal paintings.
My other passion is getting outdoors into nature with my dog Mocha.
