🎨 Art Exhibition: "Where Conversations Are Shared"

🗓 June 3 – 28, 2025

📍 Atelier Gallery, 321 Hudson Ave NE #101, Salmon Arm, BC

🎉 Opening Reception: Tuesday, June 3, 2025

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be exhibiting my work at the upcoming group show, Where Conversations Are Shared, hosted by the beautiful Atelier Gallery in Salmon Arm. This exhibition brings together the Salmon Arm Artist Mastermind Group — a talented and diverse collective of local artists, each with their own unique voice and vision.

I'm honoured to have three of my pieces included in the show:

🖼 Silent Shaggy Strength

🖼 Song of the Wings

🖼 Fox Spirit

Each of these works is a reflection of my deep connection to the natural world and the quiet spirit found in wildlife — a theme I return to again and again in my art.

The exhibition runs from June 3 to 28, and you're warmly invited to the opening reception on June 3. It's a wonderful chance to connect with the artists, take in a wide range of creative styles, and celebrate the local art scene right here in the Shuswap.

You'll also see beautiful work from fellow artists:

Cori Torres, Diane Akey, Isabelle Gervais, Janet Aiken, Jennifer Dodds, Kathleen Baleja, Kathy Atkins, Maureen Howard, Michelle Atkins, Patricia L. Smith, Rebecca Shepherd, Valerie Rogers, and Verna Brown.

I would absolutely love for you to stop by, enjoy the art, and maybe even find a piece that speaks to you. Bring a friend — or two!

Hope to see you there!

About the Author

Inspired by the wild beauty of British Columbia’s Shuswap region, I create pastel and watercolor artworks that reflect the spirit of nature and its creatures. My background as a National Park Warden and avid outdoor enthusiast has deepened my connection to the land, shaping how I see and express the world around me.

Since retiring, I’ve devoted myself fully to art, focusing on works that invite viewers to feel the emotion and presence of the animal — to be drawn in, if only for a moment of escape and wonder. Each piece is a tribute to the joy and quiet strength I find in nature’s small, unforgettable moments.
